Adem Gungor

Adem has been playing drums and singing lead vocals since the age of 12 in a bunch of primarily, garage bands. He formed a cover band and started playing live venues at the age of 18 which was a trio called Beer Buzz back in 2003 to 2009.

Later he formed a band that played originals and covers called the Rocker Covers from 2010 to 2014. Whilst in that band, he was in a number of other projects. One was a a Kiss tribute band called Gods of Thunder which went from 2010 to 2012. He also recorded instrumental beats for underground Horrorcore artists such as Bloodex the Mad Hatter, and some solo originals as heard on SoundCloud.

He is currently playing in a covers band called Rock City Saints which was formed in 2014 and joined by Damian McDonald since 2020. Adem and Damian are also in Jet Black. Adem also sings lead vocals in a recently formed AC/DC tribute band call High Voltage (always been a busy boy).He notes his influences as AC/DC, old school Kiss, Black Sabbath, Rose Tattoo, The Angels, Rush, Van Halen with David Lee Roth, Rory Gallagher, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Dire Straits, Motorhead, The Eagles, Thin Lizzy and more. Yes, possibly too much to list…..it could go on forever. He obviously listens to a lot of different styles of music which have all contributed to his playing style.

On another note, Adam not only plays drums but guitar, bass, keyboards and congas.His favourite guitarists are Rory Gallagher, Ace Frehley, Tony Iommi and Billy Corgan.Favourite drummers are Bill Ward, John Bonham and Jimmy Chamberlin.Favourite singing drummers are Peter Criss and Don Henley.Favourite singers are Bon Scott, Ronnie James Dio and Freddy Mercury. Favourite bass players are Lemmy Kilmister and Geezer Butler.
